Chelsea are going through a tough time, where the future of their current manager isn’t certain amid the news of the arrivial of a new manager at the Stamford Bridge.
Maurizio Sarri has lost the dressing room, with no doubt, after Kepa’s incident yesterday in the EFL Cup, Carabao Cup, final against Manchester City where the Spanish goalkeeper refused to to get substituted.
Maurizio Sarri’s future is in doubt now as many pundits assume that the Italian manager could be resigning in the coming few hours, after his public issue with Kepa and the players, and some other pundits suggest that he will be sacked, the same way the other managers got sacked at Chelsea such as Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
However, Sarri has sent a strong message to the board amid the news of him getting sacked after he was asked why Guardiola’s first season wasn’t under pressure and with the threat of getting sacked.
Maurizio Sarri said:” You have to ask Manchester City and Chelsea. I don’t know if I am in danger of getting sacked by the club or because of you. If a club signs Guardiola then they have to wait because they know that Pep needs time. It’s not easy in the Premier League.”
This comes after the news of the club preparing a deal for Zidane to replace Sarri where many say that this is a fast judgment after six months with the team.
