REVEALED: Oliver Giroud’s Shirt Number With Chelsea

Chelsea have finally signed the French striker, Oliver Giroud, from the Premier League London rival, Arsenal FC, where the Blues have successfully landed a new striker.

The deal of Oliver Giroud made Arsenal fans are angry about it, for selling the second during this winter transfer windows, in January, to a rival this season after selling Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United earlier last week where the Chilean went in a swap deal for the Armenian international, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Oliver Giroud was pictured backstage while he is photo shooting for his announcement holding a Chelsea shirt, where his jersey number was revealed with his new club.

The French international, Oliver Giroud, will be a backup striker for the Spanish new arrival, Alvaro Morata, who arrived from Real Madrid last summer and recently failed to score in several matches and was one of the reasons Chelsea couldn’t score goals and missed chances.

Oliver Giroud, according to the shirt he is holding, he will be wearing the number 18 shirt with Chelsea during the 18 months contract he signed, and he may stay for one more year where his contract includes a one-year extension, but it is optional.
