The Reason Victor Moses Was Benched

Antonio Conte has revealed the reason why Victor Moses was benched against West Ham United in the match that Chelsea lost 1-0 yesterday.

Chelsea has lost against West Ham United 1-0 in the Premier League Matchday 16 in a London Derby where Chelsea players underperformed and played one of their worst matches this season.

Antonio Conte said about benching Victor Moses:” Against Atletico Madrid Marcos Alonso was benched, against Newcastle United Davide Zappacosta was benched, it’s just a rotation with the busy fixture we have to save the player’s injury.”

Knowing that Victor Moses was the only player that was changed from Atletico Madrid’s match where Marcos Alonso played instead of him, while the other 10 starting players all started against Atletico Madrid and some against Newcastle United as well last week.

This raises the red flag that there may be an issue between the Nigerian player, Victor Moses, and the Italian manager, Antonio Conte.
