PLAYERS RATINGS: Chelsea 2-1 Watford And Man Of The Match

Another poor match for the Blues Chelsea FC on the boxing day where Chelsea won 2-1 against Watford FC by two goals scored by the Belgian international forward, Eden Hazard.

Eden Hazard scored the first goal at the end of the first half, then Watford equalized before he gives Chelsea the lead in the second half again through a penalty after Watford’s goalkeeper committed a foul.

Here are our player’s ratings for Chelsea

Chelsea players ratings:

Kepa: Committed some silly mistakes and was shaky when passing the ball in his leg. 6.5/10

Azpilicueta: A very average match today. 6.5/10

Rudiger: Couldn’t keep up with Watford’s pace in the counter-attack. 6/10

Luiz: Average as well, but blocked some attempts. However, was committing silly fouls sometimes. But still, the best in the defense today. 7/10

Alonso: We didn’t see him today. 6/10

Kovacic: Beside the assist, didn’t do much. 6.5/10

Kante: Sarri is still not playing him in his position. This isn’t the Kante of last season. But his pressing and movement led to Chelsea’s first goal as well. 6.5/10

Jorginho: Was so lost in the midfield today, no clear role. 6/10

Hazard: Chelsea’s best player, as usual. Scored twice and did his best, regardless of Watford’s solid defense. 8/10

Willian: Another poor match. 5.5/10

Pedro: Didn’t do much, and left the pitch with an injury at the end of the first half. 5/10

Subs

Callum Hudson-Odoi: Couldn’t do much. Got subbed off as well four minutes before the end of the match, weirdly. 5/10

Ross Barkley: Nothing much to do as well. 5/10

Emerson Palmieri: Came to secure the score. 5/10

Marucio Sarri (manager): Wrong formation and poor tactics today as well. He had to start Oliver Giroud in such closed matches instead of Hazard as a false number 9. Chelsea were lucky to win today. 6/10

Man of the match: None of Chelsea players, again.
