Chelsea secured the qualification to the final against Arsenal after scoring 4 out of 5 penalties, and Eintracht Frankfurt missing twice, where Kepa saved them.

Here are our player’s ratings for Chelsea

Chelsea players ratings:

Kepa: Made a crucial save on the 15th minute. Had a good match. But in the penalties, he gave Chelsea the qualification for the final, unlike the EFL Cup against Manchester City. 7.5/10

Azpalicueta: An okay match, played as a center back at the end of the match. A poor penalty from Chelsea’s captain, weak and easy to save. 5/10

Luiz: Was at fault for Frankfurt’s first goal, a defender at Chelsea should be committing such fatal mistakes in a semi-final. However, his crucial clearance from the goal line was remarkable. 5/10

Christensen: Was able to do better, especially in Frankfurt’s goal. Left injured at the end of the match. 5.5/10

Emerson: Average, not his best match. 6/10

Jorginho: Had a good match today, he’s having a good run of games recently. 7/10

Kovacic: Another poor game. 5/10

Loftus-Cheek: Scored a goal and was close to scoring another. Was always trying. 7.5/10

William: Not a very good match. 6/10

Giroud: Tried a bit, but wasn’t so effective. 6/10

Hazard: Tried his best, made an assist and was the most dangerous player in Chelsea. 7.5/10

Pedro: Didn’t do much. 5/10

Zappacosta: Replaced Azpilicueta on the right side after Chelsea’s captain replaced Christensen as a center back. Made a crucial save in the last seconds of the first half of the extra time. 6/10

Barkley: Was close to scoring. 5/10

Higuain: Couldn’t really break into Frankfurt’s defense. 5/10

Maruzio Sarri (manager): Chelsea are still struggling to score. If the transfer ban isn’t lifted and Eden Hazard leaves, Sarri may better resign before he gets sacked. His subs were late as well. 5/10

Man of the match: None of Chelsea players really impressed, but some credit to Hazard and Loftus Cheek
