Another poor performance by Chelsea in the final third, due to the lack of a finisher and goal scorer. Chelsea lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspurs in the EFL Cup, Carabao Cup, semi-final where the only goal by Hary Kane was by a penalty.
The Blues Chelsea FC dominated the match in every single aspect, almost 58% possession, 17 shots, and Tottenham had only 6 shots, and even the corners 6 to 2.
However, Chelsea’s attack without a real number nine striker helped the Spurs to win today with no one to convert the chances up front. Sarri has to sign a striker as soon as possible.
