PLAYERS RATINGS: Chelsea 1-0 BATE And Man Of The Match

Another good and tough win for the blues Chelsea FC in the Europa League against BATE Borisov away from home where the Blues have won 1-0 by the goal of the French international and world cup winner, Oliver Giroud.

Chelsea under their new Italian manager, Mauricio Sarri, are still unbeaten in all their domestic and European matches where they are the only Premier League team domestically and continentally to do so.

Kepa: Didn’t concede, wasn’t tested a lot. 7/10

Cahill: His performance declined a lot. 6/10

Christensen:  He had a good match. 7/10

Emerson: A good match and he is putting pressure on Alonso. 7/10

Zappacosta:  A shaky first half, but a better second half. 7/10

Barkley: Had an average match. 6/10

Loftus Cheek: Not the Loftus Cheek of the previous matches or last Europa League match. 6/10

Jorginho: The maestro of the midfield, amazing performance by the Italian man. 8/10

Pedro: A good match as well. 7/10

Giroud: Didn’t do much throughout the match, but scored the most important and winning goal. 7/10

Hazard: one of the best players on the pitch today and the best in the attack. Made everything except scoring. 8/10



Matteo Kovacic: Came to balance the midfield and secure the score. 6/10

Willian: Was energetic and tried to score. 5/10

Callum Hudson-odoi: Not much time to do anything. 5/10

Marucio Sarri (manager): A good tactical match while resting the other players. Chelsea suffered a bit defensively. 7/10

Man of the match: Jorginho was the best player today, even though Giroud scored the winning goal.
