Chelsea has received a huge blow after confirming that Alvaro Morata, Chelsea’s striker, will be suspended against Everton FC in the Premier League Matchday 19.
Alvaro Morata has received his fifth yellow card this season against Bournemouth FC in the EFL Cup quarter-final after he scored the winning goal in the last seconds of the injury time because he put the ball under his shirt, which was a symbol as well that he is waiting for his first baby soon, however, he received a yellow card for that celebration.
Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, has expressed his frustration for the suspension and called the decision as “pity” for a player to receive a yellow card for a celebration, which already happened in the Premier League and other leagues without receiving any yellow card.
This means that Chelsea will play without their main striker, Alvaro Morata, on Saturday against Everton FC in a tough match after Everton improved under their new manager. Chelsea should play with the same formation they played against Huddersfield Town away from home earlier this month where Antonio Conte started Willian, Eden Hazard and Pedro up front in a 3-4-3 formation.
On the other hand, Alvaro Morata’s wife, Alice Campello, has announced that she is pregnant and they will receive their first baby soon and Alvaro Morata’s celebration was an expression of his happiness of being a dad for the first time, but he got suspended for it.
