A very disappointing performance and disappointing night for Chelsea fans where their team, Chelsea FC, was playing with 11 dead men on the pitch with no soul, no desire, no fighting, and no will to win where Leicester City had 15 shots and five of them were on target, and Chelsea had just nine shots, and three of them were on target.
It was obvious something was missing, it wasn’t Chelsea, the Premier League titleholder, who was playing today. A very disappointing match where Chelsea were barely able to score after missing plenty of chances in the full time where Leicester City equalized before the end of the second half and the match went for extended time where the Spaniard forward, Pedro Rodriguez, scored the winning goal after a long ball from the French midfielder, N’Golo Kante.
The draw for the FA Cup semi-final was performed after the end of the match against Leicester City where Chelsea have been drawn with the Premier League side, Southampton, where the match will be played in Wembley over one match only on the 21st or 22nd of April.
Chelsea will be eyeing to reach the final and play against Tottenham Hotspurs or Manchester United who will be playing a semi-final as well and the final match will take place in the second half of May and it may be a London Derby between Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea FC, or a tough and crucial match between Manchester United and Jose Mourinho on one side, and Antonio Conte and Chelsea on the other side.
Antonio Conte needs to win this competition after the very disappointing season where Chelsea FC lost the EFL Cup against Arsenal FC last month and got eliminated from the Champions League against Barcelona FC last week alongside being so far away from Manchester City in the Premier League and competing with them is impossible at this stage of the season.
Chelsea have reached the FA Cup final last season and lost 2-1 against Arsenal FC, and this season if Chelsea reaches the final, Antonio Conte will be fighting until the end to win this trophy as the only trophy available this season to save the season.
