Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, has handed Chelsea fans an injury update about their main star, Eden Hazard, ahead of the London Derby tomorrow in the EFL Cup, Carabao Cup, semi-final against Arsenal.
The Belgian forward, Eden Hazard, was suffering from a calf injury last week when Chelsea played against Arsenal in the London Derby away from home, at the Emirates Stadium, and the two teams drew 2-2 where Eden Hazard scored Chelsea’s first goal.
Eden Hazard was suffering from a calf injury which made Antonio Conte sub him off in the 82nd minute against Arsenal, and he missed the FA Cup third round match against Norwich City last week where Chelsea drew 0-0 as well.
However, Antonio Conte has confirmed that today in a pre-match conference that Eden Hazard will be fit to play against Arsenal tomorrow at the Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte said:” Eden Hazard has recovered from the small problem he had, calf injury. He is in contention for tomorrow’s match against Arsenal.”
Knowing that Chelsea has a busy fixture in the coming two weeks, where the Blues will play against Arsenal twice in the EFL Cup, over two legs, and will have the return leg for Norwich City FA Cup match. In addition to the two Premier League matches in between.
