Drinkwater Becomes The First Chelsea Player To Do This 2 Thing

Chelsea has had a great win yesterday, Saturday, in the last Premier League against Stoke City at home, Stamford Bridge, where The Blues trashed Stoke City with five goals and kept a  clean sheet.

The five goals were scored by different players, Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring for Chelsea then Danny Drinkwater scored then Pedro scored in the first half, before Willian scores by a penalty the fourth goal and then Davide Zappacosta scored the fifth goal after coming on as a sub in the last minutes of the second half to end the match with five goals.

According to Sky Sports, The English midfielder, Danny Drinkwater, became the first English player to ever score for Chelsea in the Premier League this season. The last goal for Chelsea by an English player in the Premier League was by Chelsea’s legend and former captain, John Terry, who left last summer to Aston Villa in the Champions League.

on the other hand, according to Ssquawka, Stoke City became the first team ever for Danny Drinkwater to score against with Chelsea and with his former club, Leicester City.


Knowing that Arsenal will play against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday and the Blues will eye the three points again to continue chasing Manchester City.
