The Blues Chelsea FC have officially revealed their starting Xl that will be debuting in the Premier League season 2018/2019 against Huddersfield Town away from home, at Saint John’s Stadium, where the Blues under their new manager, Mauricio Sarri, will be eyeing three points to follow Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs to the top of the Premier League table.
The starting Xl is the following:
Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Defenders: Marcos Alonso, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, and Cesar Azpilicueta (Captain)
Midfielders: Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, and Ross Barkley.
Forward: Willian, Alvaro Morata, and Pedro.
Substitutes: Willy Caballero, Andreas Christensen, Davide Zappacosta, Victor Moses, Loftus-Cheek, Eden Hazard, and Oliver Giroud
The starting Xl is surprising to a point where Mauricio Sarri has dropped several key players such as Eden Hazard and starting N’Golo Kante who played the final match in the world cup with his national team, France, which could affect the player’s fitness throughout the season.
The match won’t be easy at all, especially after the disappointment in the squad after the loss to Manchester City, and the absence of several key players.
However, we expect a 2-0 win.
