Chelsea will play tomorrow a must-win match against Huddersfield Town after their surprising loss to West Ham United last Saturday which Antonio Conte said it may be the end of their Premier League title race.
Huddersfield Town isn’t an easy opponent as well, regardless of their big loss against Arsenal, but they played very well against Manchester City.
When and where is the match?
When: The match will be on Tuesday, December 12 at 8 PM BST.
Where: John Smith’s Stadium (away)
Who will play?
We don’t expect a lot of changes to the team that lost against West Ham United, we expect 2-3 changes max, unless Conte wants the same team to fight for the win.
We predict the starting Xl to be as follows:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois
Defenders: Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, and Antonio Rudiger
Midfielders: Victor Moses, Danny Drinkwater, Cesc Fabregas, N’Golo Kante, and Marcos Alonso
Forward: Eden Hazard and Willian
It’s a hard match for both, and Chelsea will be under pressure to win, a draw isn’t accepted at all. We expect Chelsea to show a reaction to the loss and win 2-0. However, it’s hard to predict the score after what Antonio Conte said after West Ham United’s match.
It will be the first time Chelsea plays against Huddersfield Town since over 45 years, where they met the last time in 1972 where the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
