Chelsea received bad news about one of their key players who will get suspended against Bournemouth FC in the EFL Cup quarter-final due to receiving several yellow cards.
Antonio Conte has confirmed that he is suffering to find a replacement for Chelsea’s star, Marcos Alonso, who is suspended against Bournemouth FC due to accumulated yellow cards.
The Spaniard, Marcos Alonso, has received a last-minute yellow card which is the fifth this season so far which means he will be banned for the next match against Bournemouth FC. This suspension is a big headache in Antonio Conte’s head due to the illness of Davie Zappacosta, which means Chelsea won’t have a full left back replacement for Marcos Alonso in the crucial match.
Antonio Conte said:” Now we have a problem, Davide Zappacosta is still recovering from a bad illness, flue. Of course, I want all my players to be available, it’s a quarterfinal match. We should be ready to overcome this kind of difficult problems.”
