Chelsea Match Report And Players Ratings And Man Of The Match Vs West Ham.

Chelsea has fallen again this season and against a team that is struggling to stay in the Premier League. Chelsea players showed some fatigue after the consecutive matches, while West Ham United showed some freshness and desire. David Moyes had his first win in his West Ham United manager role against the Premier League champions, Chelsea, which will be a great boost for them.


We will rate our players after every match, here are Chelsea Insider players ratings:

Courtois: Not much to do, can’t be blamed solely for West Ham’s goal. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Couldn’t block Arnatovic’s goal, was fighting and trying to help in scoring. 6/10

Christensen: Not his best game. 5/10

Cahill: Chelsea’s captain wasn’t in his best form today, and didn’t do any single interception. Was able to do and position better to block the goal. 4/10

Zappacosta: His attempts to go forward failed and couldn’t really impress today 5/10

Alonso: His form is declining, he needs a rest. 5/10

Cesc Fabregas:  Created some good chances, but no one to convert. 6/10

N’Golo Kante:  Tried to do his best, but not his best game this season. 6/10

Bakayoko: He isn’t in Chelsea’s level at all, Chelsea should consider getting rid of him in January if he doesn’t show any improvement until then. One of the worst players on the pitch today, if not the worst. 2/10

Hazard: Tried but he wasn’t able to be as dangerous and critical as usual. West Ham defenders marked him well and he wasn’t able to move freely. 6/10

Morata: Not his day, he missed Chelsea’s biggest chance today to get back to the game. 5/10


Pedro: Came on for Bakayoko after the restart. Brought fresh energy to the team just after he came on, but he faded off later on. 5/10

Moses: Came on for Alonso ten minutes after the restart. Tried to use his pace on the right flank but West Ham’s defense was pretty solid. 5/10

Willian: Played the last 25 minutes of the game, but couldn’t do much to break down West Ham’s defense. 5/10




Pedro: Better than Bakayoko, but couldn’t impress. 5/10
Willian: Tried to equalize for Chelsea, but couldn’t 5/10
Moses: Replaced Alonso in the last minutes of the game, but couldn’t change anything. However, brought some energy to the right flank N/A

Man of the match: None of Chelsea’s players was able to impress or stand up in this game, Eden Hazard was almost the best among Chelsea’s players, but clearly not the man of the match.

Antonio Conte (manager): He has a lot of work to do in January before his team falls apart. 5/10
