Roberto Martinez, Belgium’s manager, has officially announced that Chelsea’s striker, Michy Batshuayi, picked up an injury and won’t be able to play with his national team.
Michy Batshuayi has returned to London to receive the proper treatment in Chelsea after picking up a leg injury, which may rule him out for an unknown period so far. Michy Batshuayi was one of Chelsea’s most important players this season where he was able to score seven goals in 12 matches. Batshuayi has scored two goals in the Premier League, two in the Champions League, and three in the EFL Cup
Michy Batshuayi will miss the two friendly matches Belgium will play against Mexico on Friday and Japan on Tuesday in preparation for the world cup in Russia next year, 2018.
Chelsea will have some decisive matches in the Premier League, against West Brom and Liverpool, and Champions League against Qarabag, and Atletico Madrid where Batshuayi may be out due to an injury. However, his absence isn’t confirmed yet.
