Antonio Conte Targets 68m Juventus Player In January

Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, is reported to be considering to sign Juventus’s defender in the upcoming winter transfer windows, in January.

Chelsea was linked with signing Alex Sandro from Juventus since the last summer but failed to convince Juventus to let their left wing-back leave, but it seems Chelsea will come back this winter with a bigger offer.

Antonio Conte wants to sign a left wing-back in order to compete with Marcos Alonso, and rest him as well in the rotation strategy where Marcos Alonso is playing almost every game for Chelsea this season.

David Luiz seems he is on his way to leave the Stamford Bridge for the second time, and Alex Sandro will be a replacement for David Luiz as well.

Chelsea is reported to offer Juventus almost 68m USD, around 50m GBP, for the Brazilian defender in January in order to convince them to sell him after the reports of Alex Sandro refusing to renew his contract in Turin with Juventus, and a move to Chelsea will make Alex Sandro the most expensive defender in the history at the age of 26 years old.
