Metro: Agreement Reached For A 61m Double Deal

Chelsea seem they are on the edge of completing a double deal in the winter transfer windows to be the second and third player to arrive at the Stamford Bridge during this month, January.

According to the latest news and rumors from several sources such as the English outlet, Metro, Chelsea reached an agreement with the Italian Serie A club, A.S.Roma, in order to sign two players from their club during this transfer windows and one of them includes a world-class striker that Chelsea is in need of right now.

Chelsea are in need of a new striker to strengthen the squad and the offensive line where the Blues were able to score just twice from an open play in the last five games prior to Brighton’s match.

According to Metro, Chelsea have reached an agreement with the Bosnian striker, Edin Dzekao, who plays for A.S. Roma now, and he was a player in the Premier League before and has experience in the Premier League where he played for the Citizens, Manchester City, for around four years from 2011 until 2015 where he scored more than 70 goals in around 190 matches in all competitions.


Moreover, the deal is reported to be including the Brazilian fullback Emerson Palmieri from the same club, A.S. Roma, where Chelsea are looking to strengthen the defensive line as well where Antonio Conte seems to have issues with the Brazilian defender, David Luiz, and he, Antonio Conte, wants to get more competition and a replacement for the Spaniard, Marcos Alonso, who plays as a left wing back with Chelsea and David Zappacosta couldn’t convince as a starter with the Blues and create competition for Marcos Alonso.
