PLAYERS RATINGS: Chelsea 2-0 Southampton And Man Of The Match.

Chelsea FC are officially in the FA Cup final for the 13th time in their history, and they will be playing for the third time in their history against Manchester United in the final where the last meeting was in 1994 where Chelsea FC lost to Manchester United 4-0.

Chelsea had an average first half, but in the second half the first goal came just seconds after the referee’s whistle by the French striker, Oliver Giroud, who scored one of the best goals in his professional career, which the techniques had some touches of Messi.

We will rate our players after every match, here are Chelsea Insider players ratings:

Caballero: Was good today, made several crucial saves such as on the 71st minute and several other saves. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Good defensive match, and made one assist for Alvaro Morata. 8/10

Rudiger: Was good today, a calm match but once Willian left, the defense had more work to do. 7/10

Cahill: Was okay, a bit shaky. 6/10

Emerson: A good match, next season with more playing time he can be a decent player at Chelsea, his dribbles were decent. 7/10

Moses: His crosses weren’t so perfect, but had a good match in general. 6/10

Kante: Always energetic and balancing the midfield. 7/10

Fabregas: Seemed tired at the end of the match before he gets subbed off, not the Fabregas of the previous season, but had a good game in general as well. 6/10

Giroud: Scored one of the best goals in his career, he’s not known for dribbling a lot, but his goal today was world-class. 8/10

Hazard: Made an assist and was always dangerous and building the attacks from the midfield. 8/10

Willian: If his substitution wasn’t due to an injury, then there is something wrong. His absence affected the whole team. Was so dangerous in the first half with his long shots. 7/10

Morata: Scored once, but wasted others. 6/10

Pedro: Didn’t do much, just tried to put pressure on Southampton’s defense. 5/10

Bakayoko: We didn’t notice him playing, didn’t do anything. 5/10

Man of the match: All the attack line was brilliant today, but Giroud’s goal was a different story. Oliver Giroud scored a very important and wonderful goal in the first seconds of the second half, but Eden Hazard’s effort can’t go unnoticed. For me, both of them deserve the man of the match award, but Hazard’s effort was significant.

Antonio Conte (manager): A very good win and a second final in two years, the tough match against Manchester United is the next task for Antonio Conte.  7/10
