A very disappointing match and day for the Blues Chelsea FC who lost the chance to advance in the top four and get closer to secure a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season after the fierce competition from Arsenal and Tottenham.
Chelsea players couldn’t find a solution to break into Leicester’s defense where Oliver Giroud was a player that could help in such closed matches, but Mauricio Sarri chose to play with a similar formation to the one that played and won against Manchester City with Eden Hazard as a false number 9.
However, Chelsea conceded a goal that cost them three points and was close on two occasions to equalize by Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso, but the post was in Leicester City’s side.
Moreover, Kante, Pedro, Willian, Jorginho, and others weren’t in their top form which also made Chelsea’s mission to win and score harder.
